SAP-GUI Download Tutorial

Below are the links and instructions for you to install SAP GUI on your personal computers. First, be sure to extract the GUI to a new folder which you've created. Placing the folder on the desktop makes it easy to find, and after the install is complete the folder can be deleted.

Instructions for SAP GUI download and installation:

Download the sapgui710 zip file and place it in the folder you created. Once the zip file has been downloaded, double click on the zip file to extract the contents. A wizard will guide you through the extraction process. Make sure you "extract all" the files and choose a location you can find easily. After extracting the files, close the wizard window and open the folder where you saved the extracted files. To find the setup.exe file follow the path: GUI\WINDOWS\WIN32. Then double click on the setup.exe to begin installation.

On the "Welcome Screen" please click NEXT.

The second screen will let you choose a location to install the SAP GUI. You can either choose a custom location or accept the default by clicking NEXT.

The third screen is most important. You MUST click the blue text "Select All". This will ensure all the necessary components of the GUI will be installed. After you have selected all the components, please click NEXT.

At this point the GUI is ready to be installed. Please click INSTALL.

Finally, you will be asked to choose a location for the Adobe Designer to be installed. Either choose a custom location or accept the default by clicking FINISH.

Finally, in order to automatically configure your SAP GUI for the servers, download the saplogon.ini file and save it in your Windows folder (C:\Windows or c:\WINNT usually).
