To determine your directory UserID and password go to http://www.uah.edu/cgi-bin/dirpwques.cgi. You can also change your password at this location. For students, the UserID is the first part of your @email.uah.edu email address and the password is the first letter of their first name, the first letter of their last name and the last six digits of their "A" number. Questions about IDs and passwords should be directed to the Computer & Network Services Help Desk, at 824-2639.

To login to Angel, open a web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Firefox) and follow these instructions:

1. Enter https://angel.uah.edu/ in the address bar or click here.
2. Enter your Angel ID and password and click Log On.
3. If this is the first time you login, click Yes to enter a password hint question and answer.
4. To change your password go to http://www.uah.edu/cgi-bin/dirpwques.cgi.

Example1:

John Doe has a UAHuntsville ID of doej and an "A" number of A25089345.

Example2:

John A. Doe has a UAHuntsville ID of daj0002 and an "A" number of A25089345.

The UAHuntsville e-mail userid is the same as your UAHuntsville userid. Your initial UAHuntsville e-mail password is your first initial, last initial, then the last six digits of your UAHuntsville student id number ("A" number) formatted as zz999999 (notice the initials are lower case). You can login to your UAHuntsville e-mail account through the new web-based email interface at http://chargermail.uah.edu.

A student, staff, or faculty member will use their UAHuntsville email userid and password to publish to UAHuntsville's webpages server.

Myitlab

IS 146 students are required to have a myitlab account. Their user name should be their UAHuntsville e-mail address formatted as username@uah.edu. It is recommended that each make their password as follows: first initial, last initial, then the last 4 digits of your UAHuntsville id number (your "A" number).

Oracle on the BAB server

The oracle userid assigned to IS 340 students is dbmNNN, where NNN is a three-digit number. Your 7-digit password's format is MMMMNNN, where MMMM represents the last four digits of your UAHuntsville id number and NNN is the 3-digits making up your assigned userid.

IS 350, 440/540, 640, and 655 students should see the box at right for their userids. The password scheme is the same for all oracle accounts.

The IS userid assigned to IS 114 students is winNNN, where NNN is a three-digit number. Your 7-digit password's format is MMMMNNN, where MMMM represents the last four digits of your UAHuntsville id number and NNN is the 3-digits making up your assigned userid.

IS 340, 350, 420/520, 440/540, and 640 students should see the box at right for their userids.

The password scheme is the same for all oracle accounts.
