Business Student Council

Who Are We?

The Business Student Council serves as a forum for business students to discuss items with the Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Business Administration. Members of the Business Student Council are officers in the following student organizations

• Association of Information Technology Professionals
• Beta Alpha Psi
• Beta Gamma Sigma
• Marketing Club
• Society for Human Resource Management
• SGA Legislators

Get Involved

The Business Student Council conducts service projects which promote the welfare of business students, assists in the recruiting of business students, and assists entering business students to make a smooth transition.

Networking Opportunities

BSC assists the Office of Career Services with the Job Fair and Career Fair, allowing students to seek employment opportunities and to find out what potential employers are looking for in their employees. BSC also assists clubs in the College of Business Administration with campus and state activities, which provides members with the opportunity to become acquainted with other students in similar areas of study. These contacts promote relationships which easily extend beyond graduation into the business community.

Career Paths

We strongly encourage our members to take advantage of professional opportunities. Many of our members get hands-on accounting experience through co-operative educational and internship programs available at the University.
