WebCT

To determine your directory UserID and password go to http://www.uah.edu/cgi-bin/dirupdt.cgi. You can also change your
password at this location. For students, the UserID is the first part of your @email.uah.edu email address and the password is the same as their initial e-mail password: the first letter of their first name, the first letter of their last name and the last four digits of their Social Security Number. Questions about IDs and passwords should be directed to the Computer & Network Services Help Desk,
at 824-2639.

 

To login to WebCT, open a web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer or Firefox) and follow these login instructions:

1.       Enter http://classweb.uah.edu in the address field

2.       Click the Login to WebCT link/icon.

3.       Enter your WebCT ID and password and click Log in.

a.       If this is the first time you login, click Yes to enter a password hint question and answer.

b.       Change your password on the myWebCT page if you would like.

4.       On the myWebCT page, click the link for your course.

Example1:*

John Doe has a UAH ID of doej and a social security number of 123-45-6789.

UAH E-mail

The UAH e-mail userid is the same as your UAH userid. Your initial UAH e-mail password is your first initial, last initial, then the last four digits of your UAH student id number formatted as zz9999 (notice the initials are lower case). You can login to your UAH e-mail account through the new web-based email interface at http://chargermail.uah.edu.

PRINTMAN in CBA Open Labs
To print in the
Business Administration Building's open labs (ASB 214 & 215) you must have a UAH PrintMan account. For instructions on how to setup and use a PrintMan account, see http://cas.uah.edu/tutorials/print.html.

A student, staff, or faculty member will use their UAH email userid and password to publish to UAH's webpages server.

myitlab

MIS 146 students are required to have a myitlab account. Their user name should be their UAH e-mail address formatted as username@uah.edu. It is recommended that each make their password as follows: first initial, last initial, then the last 4 digits of your UAH id number (your "A" number).

Oracle on the BAB server

The oracle userid assigned to MIS 340 students is dbmNNN, where NNN is a three-digit number. Your 7-digit password's format is MMMMNNN, where MMMM represents the last four digits of your UAH id number and NNN is the 3-digits making up your assigned userid.

MIS 350, 440/540, 640, and 655 students should see the box at right for their userids. The password scheme is the same for all oracle accounts.

MIS 340, 350, 420/520, 440/540, and 640 students should see the box at right for their userids.
